Kali & Erik’s Hilands Golf Club Wedding was one for the books! Set right in the heart of summer on one of the hottest days of the season in Billings. But if the heat was intense, it was nothing compared to the energy, love, and excitement that surrounded these two from start to finish.

Kali & Erik’s ceremony took place at the beautiful Zoo Montana, where friends and family gathered under the big Montana sky. Even with the soaring temperatures, they were all smiles. The setting felt both intimate and unique, surrounded by nature and filled with so much joy. You could feel how much these two mean to the people in their lives. There wasn’t a dry eye (or probably a dry forehead!) in the crowd.

After the “I do’s,” everyone made their way to Hilands Golf Club for the reception, and the celebration truly kicked into full swing. The evening was filled with heartfelt toasts, nonstop laughter, and a packed dance floor. Guests were ready to celebrate and Kali and Erik wouldn’t have had it any other way.

And just when it felt like the day couldn’t get any better, Mother Nature delivered something unforgettable. As we wandered out on the golf course for golden hour, we were gifted the most epic golden sunset. Kali and Erik soaked it all in while we captured some of the dreamiest, glow-filled portraits of the entire day. It was the perfect ending to an already incredible celebration.

Our Proposal Story

We were in Phoenix on a getaway with our friends Corey and Jesse, playing a round of golf that quickly turned into a hot, slow, and slightly frustrating day. By hole 16, we were all ready to be done when Erik asked for a photo. Kali reluctantly got out of the cart, and as she tried to reposition him for a better background, he dropped to one knee. Neither of us remembers exactly what was said, just a lot of “I love yous” and an immediate, tearful “yes!”

The mood instantly shifted, and the rest of the day felt completely different. We celebrated, FaceTimed our families from the clubhouse, and soaked in the moment with loved ones in Phoenix. Huge thanks to Corey and Jesse for being there and capturing such a special memory.
