Did you just get a puppy or has your best friend been by your side for a while? Either way these sweet little fur-balls make such a huge impact on our lives and need to be celebrated!
I want to normalize getting professional photos taken of your dog. Maybe you don't have kids or just became an empty nester. Or maybe your dog likes having his photo taken more than your kids do (mine does for sure)! Dogs are with us for a short time, and they are not just pets, they are family.
I want to capture their goofy expressions, playful nature, innocent eyes, and the affection that they have for you. I want to give you photos of your best friend that truly encompasses their legacy and lets their memory live on forever!
If you have a puppy, definitely book sooner rather than later. They're only little for a short time so we want to capture them before they hit their "awkward teenage years!" LOL! ;)
The good thing is that dog photo shoots can be done any time of the year! We can do either an indoor or outdoor session depending on your preference. If you have a month in mind, just let me know and I will send you a list of dates that I have available during that time.
It's time for your pup to look his/her very best! Scheduling a grooming appointment prior to the photo session would be ideal, but if that's not possible at least a quick brushing will do the trick!
I have tons of bandanas for your dog to wear during the session if you'd like to borrow one. If you are going to be in the photos too, I always suggest wearing a solid colored shirt that coordinates with your dog's collar, leash or bandana. It also makes it easier for me to edit out any dog hairs!
My number one tip for the day of your dog's session is to WEAR THEM OUT! As we all know, a tired dog is a good dog. So if that means taking them for an extra long walk prior to the photo shoot, then do it!
Try to arrive to the location early so your dog can venture around and get the "sniffs" out of the way. That way, when I show up they'll be more focused on me. I'll have dog treats and a squeaky toy ready to get their attention, but if you know something that really does the trick please let me know!
I provide sneak peek photos from your session to hold you over until the full gallery is ready. In the meantime, I will be editing each photo paying close attention to eye goobers, drool, or anything distracting in the background.
Once your full gallery is ready, I will send you a link so you can download all the high-resolution images and treasure them forever. The online gallery is available for 6 months so you'll have plenty of time to view, download, and order prints!
I'm a huge advocate for printing your images and having something tangible from your session. That's why I offer a variety of products such as albums, canvases, and metal prints. These items preserve the memory of your dog for years and years to come!
The print lab that I use is IMPECCABLE! I can't guarantee the color or quality through any other vendor. I want to make this process as easy as possible so you can get the products you love!

"Sara was so fun to work with and was great at getting my fur-babies to look at the camera (she was even prepared with treats)! I highly recommend her for any of your photography needs!"

"I never thought it would be possible to get my puppy relaxed enough to take photos of him. But Sara did it! She had such a calm demeanor and even pulled out some tricks that made him fall fast asleep. Sara was able to capture his sweet, playful innocence and I'm so glad that I'll have these photos to look back on as he grows!"
