Kali & Matt’s rainy spring wedding was a beautiful day, even with all the random showers. But isn’t rain on a wedding day good luck?!
You’ve gotta love the unpredictable weather in Montana! All week it looked like it was going to be nice for their wedding. Then, the day of, I check my weather app and it said a heavy thunderstorm was due to roll in right when the ceremony was set to begin! Luckily, it was a small wedding so we were able to move up the ceremony time to avoid the rain. The day ended up working out perfectly for photos!
Have I mentioned before how much I adore first looks? Such sweet moments!
Rainy Spring Wedding – Billings, MT
Kali & Matt’s wedding ceremony was held at a private property just south of Billings. We drove down a long dirt road to a luscious green field filled with purple wildflowers. It was so beautiful and was the perfect location for their small & intimate ceremony.
This was such a fun group of people to spend the day with!
It just so happened to be the bride’s parents’ wedding anniversary too! How sweet is that?
After the ceremony, we headed to downtown Billings for some photos. Kali & Matt definitely got some honks as we wandered down Montana Ave!
The groom’s talented mom made the cake! Isn’t it beautiful?
The reception was held at the cutest little brick building called Veronica Zane.
