I swear, anytime that I plan a sunset engagement session it’s either cloudy, rainy or even snowing! But apparently all the stars were aligned on the evening that we took Quincey & Blake’s engagement photos! It was so magical!!

Sunset Engagement Session

We actually had to reschedule their engagement session due to the rain, but I’m so glad that we did! The second day that they chose was much nicer and gave us that golden glow that I’m always after! We started in downtown Billings and then headed to Rehberg Ranch, covered ourselves in bug spray and hiked up a really big hill to catch the gorgeous golden sunset. It was so worth all my huffing & puffing! They danced in the field, shared some kisses and a lot of laughs. All in all, it was a perfect evening!!

Funny story, Quincey actually contacted me before she was even engaged! She knew that it was coming though – or at least was hopeful that it was! Blake designed the ring, but he made sure to take his time in giving it to her to heighten the element of surprise!

One night, they were out after dark playing with Blake’s camera and doing some slow shutter release photos. They were writing words with lights and Blake said, “Look at this one!” When Quincey checked out the back of his camera, she saw that he had written the words “Marry Me?” Needless to say, she was ultimately surprised and didn’t hesitate at all to say YES!!!

If Blake & Quincey’s engagement session was this amazing, I can only imagine what their wedding is going to be like at Rockin’ TJ Ranch next year!! I’m so excited!!
