I’m not sure how I’ve made it this far into my career with never shooting out at MT Wildflower Weddings! But as soon as I pulled up to the venue I instantly fell in love! The green fields, the pond, the waterfall, and the mountains in the distance – what’s not to love?!! Plus, the staff was so accommodating the entire day!
Natalie & Colton came all the way from Wyoming to get married at this gorgeous site. And we had absolutely perfect weather to match their fairytale of a day!

The Proposal Story
Natalie said that Colton was acting really weird the day that he proposed, so she knew that something was up, but had no idea that they would later be getting engaged. First, he wanted to ride a dirt bike to the top of a mountain, but Natalie said no because it was really windy that day. Then he suggested going to a lake, but she pointed out that it was super cold. So they decided to compromise and hiked up to a waterfall together.
They had their giant bloodhound dog Axle with them and asked someone to take their photo near the waterfall. Colton quickly handed the leash over to Natalie and as she struggled to wrangle in their dog, she turned around and noticed Colton was down on one knee. She was shocked because she said he’s never good at surprising her, but I would say that he definitely succeeded that day!
Even though the bride & groom had just seen each other 45 minutes before the ceremony, as Natalie walked down the aisle towards Colton, he could not hold back his tears. So for those of you against doing a First Look, hopefully this might change your mind! That moment will always be real, candid, & filled with emotion.
Reception at MT Wildflower Weddings
Probably one of the sweetest moments of the night was when Colton’s Grandpa read the poem that he wrote for the bride & groom. It melted my heart!
Everyone knows that my favorite time of the wedding day is when I get to steal the bride & groom away for some sunset portraits! We took advantage of all the beautiful backdrops at MT Wildflower Weddings and even got to check out Colton’s remodeled Bronco! It was definitely the perfect ending to an incredible evening!
A special shoutout to all the vendors who made this day so perfect for the bride & groom!
