Ashley & Jory’s DanWalt Garden Wedding was a dream for this flower-loving photographer! Everything was lush & green, the sun was shining and the chickens were clucking… yes, they have chickens there!! But the day was extra special to me because this is the same place where I got married 7 years ago. The memories came flooding back to me and I couldn’t help but get a little emotional as I watched Ashley & Jory say their vows. They’re such a sweet couple!!
These girls were so great to work with! They helped transform Ashley into a bride and even assisted with a wardrobe malfunction! A+ Bride Squad!!
The guys were a little bit rowdier than the girls, okay, much rowdier! But they kept us laughing the whole day!!
This was one of the most beautiful moments of the day! When Jory saw Ashley for the first time he couldn’t help but cry. I just love when people truly give into the moment and let go of their emotions! They have been together for 7 years so this was a long time coming!
How cute are these two? Seriously?!! 🙂
DanWalt Garden Wedding
I have to tell you, this was one of the funnest wedding I’ve ever been to! There were so many people dancing and having a good time. So at the end of the night when it was time for me & my second shooter to leave, we decided to stay longer! We even made our way out onto the dance floor!
After dinner and all the formal events, we headed back out into the gardens for some “golden hour” portraits with the bride & groom — this time as a married couple!
Finally, a special shout out to all the amazing vendors that made Ashley & Jory’s day perfect!
