The bride’s parents transformed their beautiful property into an upscale wedding venue, seamlessly blending cheerful and modern charm. Consequently, this classy front yard wedding became a fairytale dream come true for Cassidy and Zach!
Moreover, the private wedding created a cozy, intimate ambiance that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Cassidy’s deep personal connection with the home added a layer of sentimentality and nostalgia to her special day. Her dad poignantly mentioned in his toast, “Every time I’ve mowed this yard over the years, I’ve envisioned the day that my daughter would get married here.” Additionally, the stellar lineup of vendors contributed significantly to making this dream wedding a reality. As a result, the event was truly amazing from start to finish!
Guests were greeted by the family’s five french bulldogs and the occasional peacock! This was my kind of wedding!
The citrus colors of guava, grapefruit, lemon, tangerine, and raspberry, along with light blue accents, popped against the lush greens of the grounds. In addition, the vibrant hues created a striking contrast, making the scene not only lively but also visually stunning.
Zach and his best man got ready in the bride’s brother’s art studio. I am truly mesmerized by the amount of talent in this family!
Cassidy’s dog (Jack) was everywhere she was throughout the day. He even joined in on the first look with her dad by sitting on her wedding dress!
Classy Front Yard Wedding
As we began taking family portraits, the bride was presented with her stunning bouquet by Mac’s Floral. Meanwhile, Cassidy’s brother added a special touch by including a yellow orchid that he had personally grown in his own greenhouse. This gesture highlighted the close-knit nature of their family, which shares a bond like no other.
Furthermore, it was particularly meaningful that Cassidy’s parents had celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary just five days before Cassidy and Zach’s wedding, adding an extra layer of significance to the occasion.
Cassidy & Zach’s Love Story
“We met in college at Linfield in Oregon. Zach asked me to dinner (the old-fashioned way) and we hit it off right away. We started dating and got engaged engaged at home, in our apartment on Sunday night – it was simple and lowkey! We love to cook, find fun places to eat, take our Frenchie ‘Jack’ on walks to the park, Zach loves basketball, I love cleaning… anything that we can do together is fun for us.”
Zach describes Cassidy as funny, gorgeous, and kind. In turn, Cassidy describes Zach as honest, selfless, and a protector. Together, they embody two of the most loving and gentle souls. Moreover, their smiles radiate such energy that they effortlessly make everyone around them feel special. They truly are a phenomenal couple!
Cassidy’s grandpa had recently passed away which was very unexpected and a huge loss for their family. They had a chair adorned with his jacket and favorite hat in the front row of the ceremony. Additionally, during the reception, Cassidy’s uncle pulled up in Grandpa Chaps car to take her for a ride. It was an incredibly emotional and special moment because Cassidy said she could feel him there right next to her.
Lastly, a big shoutout to all the incredible vendors that made this wedding a masterpiece!
