I’ve been looking forward to Hailey & Ben’s Moss Mansion Wedding ever since I met them! It was classy and romantic, just as expected! The theme was “garden party” with a wide array of summer colors. Coral, dusty blue, soft pink, and white flowers filled the grounds and made us feel like we were on the set of Bridgerton. They hired my top favorite vendors, so I new the day was going to perfect!
Sadly, just a few weeks before the wedding, the bride’s mom passed away after battling cancer. Hailey’s Godmother (Debra) helped her get ready and was truly a ray of sunshine, keeping her spirits up. We started the day with tears in our eyes, but we could feel the presence of Michelle watching from above. There were lots of personal touches to symbolize her, including butterflies in the floral bouquets.
Hailey & Ben have known each other since middle school. They became friends in high school, especially bonding over being biology partners their sophomore year. They love to play pickleball, watch “House Hunters,” go shopping (especially at T.J. Maxx), and play Nintendo Switch. Ben describes Hailey as beautiful, nurturing, inspiring. Hailey says Ben is caring, driven, funny.

The Proposal Story (as told by the bride)
On the day of our proposal, Ben took me out to do a few of our favorite things (breakfast at Bernie’s Diner, walking around bookstores, and just spending time together). On our drive home, Ben pointed out that it was a nice day and suggested that we go for a walk on the Rims.
As we were walking I started to get nervous butterflies because he was unusually quiet. We made it to a bench that overlooked the city and sat down. Ben started to tell me a story about how when we were 15 he wanted to ask me to be his girlfriend at the same bench, but he was so nervous he chickened out and just ended up asking me in the driveway of my house.
He then told me that he called this his “do-over bench” and he has known all these years that it was where he wanted to ask me to be his wife. At that point, he got down on one knee, asked the question, and I said yes!
Lastly, a big shout out to all the incredible vendors that made this day perfect!
