Mustaches, sombreros, and rubber ducks! Not what you’d typically expect at a wedding, but it all definitely made for a good time! Hayley & Mike’s Barnsion Wedding in Harlowton, MT was a laid-back and memorable event! They didn’t let the rain get them down and it even stopped long enough for their ceremony!

Their Love Story
As told by Hayley: Mike and I met in Bozeman the summer of 2013. We dated for almost 4 years before going our separate ways in 2017. Mike got his dream job in Billings and I wasn’t willing to relocate. I had finally established a great support system in Bozeman after several years of living there and I wasn’t ready to up and move without a commitment from Mike. After a lot of back and forth we decided neither one of us wanted to do “long distance” and we parted ways (so silly to think about the reasons now). After a few extremely awkward run ins with each other we reconnected at the Pony Duck Races in June of 2020. We danced the night away and have talked every day since.
We got engaged August 31st in Banff. It was perfect! We were exploring the town when we decided to take a gondola ride to the top of the mountain. We had lunch at the top of the mountain and then after lunch Mike and I went on a little walk to a look out point. It was there that he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
Lastly, a big shoutout to all the amazing vendors that made this day perfect!
