Melanie & Shawn are celebrating 30 years of marriage and Taylor & Tanner are celebrating 2 years. Both couples read their vows in front of family & close friends at St. Patrick’s Co-Cathedral. It was a beautiful celebration of life, commitment & the incredible bond that this family has with each other.

Two years ago, this family was thrown the ultimate curve ball in life. Just months before Taylor & Tanner’s wedding, the bride’s dad (Shawn) suffered a massive stroke leaving the left side of his brain severely damaged. They immediately did surgery, but due to the amount of recovery, he was unable to attend the wedding. It was an emotional day to say the least, and the family somehow powered through it.

So when Taylor (my past bride) recently contacted me and said they were going to do a vow renewal so that her dad could be there this time, I leaped at the opportunity! The icing on the cake was finding out that Taylor & her sister Arielle are both expecting babies this year, so we had to end the day with a maternity session!

I adore everything about this family! I am so grateful that Shawn is doing better and improving everyday!

All of Shawn’s brothers & parents were able to attend the vow renewal. You can tell these guys have a tight bond!
