We had to reschedule Kasey & Collyn’s engagement session for a warmer day and I wouldn’t say that we necessarily got one, but we were blessed with a beautiful snowy backdrop at Norm’s Island, so that was a bonus! Plus, we took a mid-session break at Last Chance Pub to have a beer, and that definitely got the blood flowing again! These two were such good sports and toughed out the blistering snow. And because of that, we got amazing photos like this!
Norm’s Island Engagement Session
Funny story, right after I took this photo the ring fell in the snow! Don’t worry, I found it right away but I’m sure Collyn was sweating bullets when it happened. Sorry dude! My bad!
I love that Kasey & Collyn included their sweet dog Hazel in these photos. She was a little excited (to say the least) when she joined us. Probably because she thought she was going hunting for birds! Including pets in photos can sometimes be chaotic, but it always worth it!
The Proposal Story
Collyn proposed at Bogart’s (one of their favorite restaurants in Red Lodge). He had them write on the chalkboard “Margaritas? Mas Tacos? Marry Me?” Kasey had to do a double take when she saw the sign because she wasn’t sure that it was for her. Collyn’s dad was there to take photos of the whole proposal so they can remember that moment forever! How sweet is that story?!!
This was honestly my favorite part of the session! We went to Last Chance Pub for a while to warm up (and have a beer). I really enjoyed visiting with Kasey & Collyn, and it you don’t know them, they are the nicest people on the planet!!
