I was so excited to shoot another Camelot Ranch Wedding, but I was even more excited to work with Amber & Adam! After our first initial meeting, I just knew that they were totally my favorite kind of clients – cool, fun, with a keen eye for detail. When they said their colors were rose, navy blue, sage green & copper I could just picture it! A romantic Spring wedding with a hint of rustic elegance… and that’s definitely what they delivered!!
Amber’s “something borrowed” was her Grandmother’s wedding band which had the year 1954 engraved on it. So special!
Amber got dressed with her mother & sister and then did a surprise reveal to all of her bridesmaids! I LOVE their reactions!!!
Camelot Ranch Wedding
Amber and Adam meet through Adam’s sister and have been dating for almost 5 years now. Last summer, they decided to go for a hike on Adam’s birthday – which Amber pointed out was a little odd because Adam doesn’t hike! They stopped by a creek for lunch and at even though Amber was anxiously waiting for the proposal to happen, Adam waited until the very end of the hike to pop the question. Needless to say, her answer was yes and they have been patiently waiting for this day to arrive ever since!
I always ask the bridesmaids how they know the bride and two of the girls have known her since they were little kids. They said Amber is one the most loyal people you will ever meet!
When I asked the groomsmen about Adam they said he is a man of many talents. Not only is he an awesome graphic designer, apparently he is a kick-ass badminton player too!
Their dog Ginger even made an appearance at the wedding! My favorite part was when she walked down the aisle and wanted to sit on my lap! SO CUTE!!
Their parents have a combined 75 years of marriage between them! What beautiful role models for Amber & Adam!
I always tear-up during Father-Daughter dances, but now that I have a child of my own I even get emotional when mothers dance with their sons. Amber & Adam’s parents wore their hearts on their sleeves the entire day and I appreciate them for doing this. They were truly living in the moment and embracing every special moment for their kids. You can tell they are so proud of them! Nothing but good tears here!!
Camelot Ranch Wedding
I always make it a priority to do sunset photos with the bride & groom at the end of the day. These end up being my favorite photos because the light is absolutely gorgeous, the couple is happy, feed, stress free and best of all MARRIED! It’s hard not to be super lovey-dovey when all these factors are aligned. So if your photographer asks you to allow 15-20 minutes for sunset shots, I highly recommend that you do it!
Couples like this make me love my job even more! Thanks for letting me capture your day Amber & Adam!!
A special shout out to all the vendors at this wedding that made it an absolutely perfect day for Amber & Adam!!
