Taylor & Tanner’s downtown Billings wedding was centered around love, faith, and family. They were married at the elegant St. Patrick’s Co-Cathedral and celebrated the night away at the historic Billings Depot. This wedding was nothing short of amazing and I absolutely loved being a part of it!
Taylor & Tanner are the nicest people with the warmest hearts. They have been waiting so long to say ‘I do.’ The excitement was running through their veins and everyone witnessed it when they looked at each other.
However, one very special person was missing from their day. A few months ago, the bride’s dad (Shawn) suffered a massive stroke leaving the left side of his brain severely damaged. He was flown to Denver immediately for surgery and has been recovering there ever since. I knew it would be an emotional day for the family without Shawn there, but everyone showed so much poise & strength. Many tears were shed throughout this bittersweet day, but their friends & family were there to celebrate the marriage of these two beautiful people, and that’s just what they did.

These girls sure had a lot of fun together! They were dancing & laughing all day long!
Occasionally I cry at weddings, but I was down-right bawling during this special moment. Taylor’s mom (Melanie) presented a slideshow from the bride’s dad. As the family watched the video, every guest at the wedding witnessed the deep bond that this family has. They were warriors on this special day, and all their emotions finally caught up with them. I give them so much credit for how strong they were, especially Melanie. She is the most generous woman and she orchestrated the whole day so effortlessly. The unconditional love that she has for her family is awe-inspiring. I feel so honored that I got to capture moments like this.
And a special shout out to all the vendors at this wedding that made it an absolutely perfect day for Taylor & Tanner!!
